CHAOS IN LIMBE CONTINUES AS WORKERS CLOSE SHOPS

Business continues to be on a standstill today on 18th June 2013 in Limbe as the Shop Assistants are demanding better wages from their employers.

The workers are demanding K18 600 as effected by some shop owners in Lilongwe in May this year.

A visit in Limbe revealed that most of the shops  owned by Asians 'amwenye' were closed except a few.  These few opened shops  are the ones that have prompted the workers  for to force them to close as well.
"Atseke! Atseke" (They should close) The workers in the picture are chanting in unison to the shop owners of Aram Mall.
