Honourable Sosten Gwengwe was born
on 20th May 1977 and is married.
He was a member of parliament for
Dedza Central. He is also the current Minister of Trade and Industry of the
Republic of Malawi.

He holds a Masters Degree in
Business Administration (Finance) from Oxford Brookes University. He is a Chartered
Managerial Accountant (CIMA 2005) and he is an alumnus of the University of
Malawi (The Polytechnic) where he graduated with Bachelor of Accountancy (BACC) degree.
Among his greatest achievements
in politics has been his eloquent and consistent delivery of issues in the
National Assembly. He chaired informal
network of Young Parliamentarians and inspiring many to stand as Councillors
and Parliamentarians in the 2014 tripartite elections.
Honourable Gwengwe is the
Founding Director of Alice Gwengwe Girls Academy at Linthipe in Dedza.
Hon Sosten Gwengwe will be Dr
Joyce Hilda Mtila Banda’s running mate in the forth coming tripartite
elections. 
Sosten Gondwe is too young. He is immature to hold a serious position.
